自1990年起,先后任中国科学院化学研究所助理研究员和副研究员;日本东京大学访问学者;美国纽约州卫生部健康研究中心研究员;美国太平洋西北国家实验室和美国华盛顿州立大学博士后;加拿大维多利亚大学博士后和加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学化学系研究员。2003年11月应聘任复旦大学化学系教授。
研究方向1.气相蛋白质分子的结构和性质;
2.生物质谱新技术和新方法及其在蛋白质组学中的应用;
3.分子和分子团簇的激光光电子能谱和物理化学性质.
